Joao's Yogic journey started in 2008, where he found a new approach to living through his Asana practice and Kirtans.
“Yoga came into my life as a way to prepare my body for other activities, from improving my surfing and climbing skills to increasing my flexibility and focus.”
Joao's studies have taken him deeply into his Yoga, meditation and pranayama practice. Learning how to transfer knowledge to practitioners and how to deliver class experiences are one of his most beloved gifts.
Since he started Yoga Joao has practiced a range of styles: Hatha, Vinyasa, Ashtanga, Power Yoga, Iyengar, Yin and others.
