Joao's Vinyasa classes tend to be themed on particular group muscles to help practitioners develop their practice and improve mobility, strength, balance and focus.
FLOW RELEASE (CHILL FLOW)
For both a desk bound and active body, this is a slow flowing class incorporating dynamic movements and long hold stretches. The pace of this practice makes it suitable for beginners to follow and advanced to tailor to their own strength.
ARM BALANCES & INVERSIONS
Offering a more challenging practice, Arm Balances and Inversions are amazing classes for those looking to improve their focus, strength, mobility and commitment to their practice.
Such postures require practitioners to focus their full attention to their movements and allows them to challenge their belief systems and bodies.
Body alignment, safety and conditioning are key factors for Arm Balances and Inversions.
A more traditional approach to Yoga, Hatha is based on the belief that the body, breath and mind are interrelated, and should be conditioned together. A Hatha Yoga class attempts to coordinate breathing and physical movement, improve focus and concentration, and help participants regain control of their body and mind.
The practice focuses on posture alignment, pranayma techniques and focus.
Yin yoga is a slow-paced style of yoga with poses, or asanas, that are held for longer periods of time.
